BRIDGE

In two months, I'll be travelling with the Global Volunteer Network to Ghana. This volunteer endeavor will last for the month of October, working with BRIDGE--a non-profit in Ghana founded by three Peace Corps Veterans to help build sustainable village-based organizations in Ghana so groups are better equipped to reduce poverty. The logistics for the trip are beginning to come together. Tomorrow, I'll be getting my yellow fever vaccine, and getting the rest of my vaccines in the next few weeks. The flight dates were approved by the organization, so I'll book my flight in the next week I assume. Once the flight is booked, I'll visit the Ghanaian Embassy (conveniently located in DC) to apply for my visa. I can't wait to see what the assignment will be!
